Alleged iPhone SE 2 glass shell leaks out, depicting a standard audio jack

The tiny entry level iPhone SE is heavily rumored to get a successor in the same form factor but with upgraded internals, such as a move from Apple A9 to A10 chipset, and wireless charging.

That last bit apparently presupposes a fully glass back, instead of the aluminum alloy strips that the current SE sports at the top and bottom of its rear, and we've indeed seen some sketchy shells with glass backs bandied about as belonging to the SE 2 already. Today, a new portion of these shells has emerged from the ever-prolific Chinese tech blogosphere, to the chagrin of those who expect a notch, or anything out of the ordinary from the SE successor.

The kicker, however, is that these glass bodies, allegedly depicting the SE 2, do sport a standard audio jack at the bottom, unlike what the latest rumor claimed. Also, in line with Apple's latest trend, they show just an iPhone branding on the back, and no FCC write-up, so where there is smoke, there might be fire come the WWDC event, where Apple is rumored to unveil the SE 2, if it ever materializes as pictured.
