Verizon matches T-Mobile deal: Buy one iPhone 8 or X, get one $699 off

Verizon has today announced its latest promotion, buy one iPhone, get the second one for $699 off. This latest offer is available with the purchase of any two iPhone X, 8 or 8 Plus devices.

In an almost identical deal to what T-Mobile announced two weeks ago, Verizon is essentially offering a BOGO for the base model iPhone 8 with $699 worth of credits over 24 months.

The offer is valid for both new and existing customers and works with any combination of iPhone X, 8 or 8 Plus devices when purchasing two on Verizon’s installment plan.

Here are the fine details:

Starting Jan. 29, for a limited time, trade in and buy an iPhone 8, iPhone 8+ or iPhone X, and get $699 off a second iPhone 8, 8+ or X.

The discount will be provided as a bill credit to cover the cost of the device over 24 months. This offer is eligible for both upgrades and switchers. Eligible trade-in devices are the same as the Android BOGO currently in market.

To get this offer, you need to:

  • Purchase both phones on device payment
  • Activate a new line on Verizon unlimited
  • Trade in your phone within 30 days. You will receive the trade-in value in addition to the bill credits.

Pairing Verizon’s trade-in credit of up to $300 with this new $699 promotion could be a great way to upgrade to the latest iPhones. Keep an eye out on Verizon’s website starting Monday for this deal to kick off.
